“Every dream begins with a dreamer.” Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman is most well-known for her abolition work and her leading role in the Underground Railroad. Thanks to Tubman, over 70 people were saved through the course of 13 trips via the Underground Railroad. Tubman is also considered the first African-American woman to serve in a war due to her work during the Civil War.
