PTK invitations sent to eligible students for Fall Induction

Phi Theta Kappa international honor society is represented at Georgia Highlands College by the Alpha Psi Omicron chapter, which has been recognized as one of the top PTK chapters in the nation.

PTK membership invitations have recently been sent to GHC students that qualify, and students are encouraged to consider joining the prestigious organization. PTK members are eligible for transfer scholarships, leadership positions, and participation in a number of local, regional, and national programs that enhance your resume and college portfolio!

Students with at least 12 earned credit hours and a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average are eligible for membership.

PTK faculty advisors include Betsy Clark (Cartersville), Mackleen Desravines (Paulding), Karen Huggin (Marietta), Vincent Manatsa (Douglasville) and Greg Smith (Floyd).

Member meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Wed of each month from 2:00-3:00 online via Zoom and links will be sent to members by email.
