TIME IS QUICKLY RUNNING OUT!

We are approaching the deadline to sign up to take part in one of our GHC Summer 2024 Wyoming Field Courses. Only a few spots remain to enroll in a course that will not only complete your science requirements but will also change your perspective and outlook on science. Summer 2024 offers three science tracks to choose from including Geology, Environmental and Natural Resources, and Environmental Science. If you are majoring in a non-science-based field, like film, criminal justice, history, sports management, business, communications, English, logistics, art, journalism, political science, or recreation, just to name a few, this trip is your one stop shop for all of your science credits. The three-week trip portion of the courses travels through eleven states, camps in national parks, hikes to some of the most beautiful locations in America, visits world class museums, digs for fossils, gets up close with wildlife and nature, allows you to make new friends, swim in a water park heated by natural hot springs, shop for souvenirs, and of course earn your science credits through a hands-on learning environment.

You can find all the details and the application on our website at highlands.edu/wyoming Even if you are remotely interested go ahead and complete the application- if you change your mind, you can always pull your application (but no one ever does). Just remember, you can’t go if you don’t apply. One more positive aspect of these summer courses, there are no fees associated with the tuition and the cost of the trip is classified as a lab fee so financial aid can be applied. Think it over but don’t wait too long because it will be full soon!
