Higher Foundation is a grant-making foundation for Georgia college students. Georgia is one of only two states that lack broad need-based financial aid, and nearly 112,000 students deal with unmet financial need. We are currently recruiting GA college students for our 2023 Give Higher Campaign. Students will share their college story about a time they experienced financial strain in college at our Atlanta video shoot on April 15th, 2023, and they will use their video to lead a crowdfunding campaign in June 2023. All student participants will be eligible for a Fall 2023 advocacy scholarship for $1,000 or more. Students who are interested must apply by Friday, March 31st at www.higherfoundation.org/givehigher.
We need at least 18 students from various GA colleges to participate to further assist GA college students financially this upcoming academic year, so can you please share this service and scholarship opportunity with your students? More details are listed below if needed:

· All student participants will be honored at The 2023 Higher Celebration on July 15th, 2023.
· Our Fall 2023 merit scholarship application is open and will close on May 31st. We will award 3 scholarships at $1,000 each. Apply at www.higherfoundation.org/scholarships.
· Our need-based grants will be available on August 1st, 2023 for the 2023-24 academic year. Students may receive up to $500 per grant for their basic life and college necessities. More information is at www.higherfoundation.org/grants.
· We can provide travel assistance to students who are not local to ATL.
