Colorism in the Latinx Community – Sept. 18

Greetings GHC Community,

The School of Social Science and Education has planned a series of presentations and discussions focused on race and racism. The first presentation tackles the issue of colorism, a system of discrimination based on the lightness or darkness of one’s skin color within the same racial group. More specifically, this talk explores colorism in the Latinx community. Please join us for the first in this series of timely and provocative discussions about race and racism.

Friday, September 18th, 10-11:30am

Please use the link in the flyer (or click here) to register for the presentation and to receive the Zoom link and password.
