RIFF Student Film Contest opened for GHC students

Do you like to make your own movies? Are you an amateur film-maker? Then the ROME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL has an opportunity for you!

The 2020 RIFF has opened it’s STUDENT FILM CONTEST, and you have until Friday, October 9, 2020 to submit your entry in the COLLEGE category!

Requirements:

  1. Must be 10 minutes of less (including credits).
  2. Must include a title near the beginning and credits at the end.
  3. Must be submitted digitally through a YouTube or Vimeo link that is unlisted or private with a password (include the password).
  4. Must include contact information in the entry form.
  5. All genres are accepted, and films must be ALL AGE (PG) appropriate.
  6. No copyright images or sounds allowed, must be your own work.
  7. Be creative and have fun!

DUE DATE: ALL FILMS must be turned in by midnight on Friday, Oct. 9. 2020.

Notifications will go out on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020.

Screenings for winning films (top 3 in each age category) will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Rome City Auditorium. Tickets for the screening will be $10 per ticket, but up to five filmmakers for each winning film and any student with a RIFF Film Academy badge will get in free.
