September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Men who are most at risk of prostate cancer are age 50 or older, are African American, have family histories of prostate cancer, & have BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations or Lynch syndrome. If you or someone you love fit any of these descriptions, talk to a doctor about prostate health!

Reduce Your Risk Now!

  • Never smoke.  If you do, quit.
  • Know your family history.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Talk to your doctor at age 50 about the pros and cons of prostate cancer screening.
