September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
Men who are most at risk of prostate cancer are age 50 or older, are African American, have family histories of prostate cancer, & have BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations or Lynch syndrome. If you or someone you love fit any of these descriptions, talk to a doctor about prostate health!
Reduce Your Risk Now!
- Never smoke. If you do, quit.
- Know your family history.
- Maintain a healthy weight.
- Talk to your doctor at age 50 about the pros and cons of prostate cancer screening.
