his fall, faculty, staff, students, and community partners participated in a broad process to help identify priorities for Georgia Highlands College’s next Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Through town halls, listening sessions, surveys, and small-group conversations, several shared themes emerged around student success, support, and preparation.
Based on this feedback, the QEP committee has narrowed the field to four potential topic areas, and we are now entering the final stage of selection.
We are writing to invite you to participate in the final QEP topic vote, which will remain open through February 6. This vote is an important opportunity for the college community to help determine which focus area will guide the next phase of QEP development.

The four topic areas reflect concerns raised consistently across instructional and non-instructional roles and are intended to build on work already happening at GHC. Descriptions of each option are available at the voting link below.
· Career Services and Readiness
· Onboarding, Orientation, and Student Readiness
Have questions? Join us for one of the following virtual town halls.
· Tuesday, January 13
· Wednesday, January 21
· Friday, January 30
As you consider the options, we encourage you to think about where you see students struggling most, where clearer alignment could make a difference, and which area offers the strongest foundation for a sustained, institution-wide effort.
Thank you for taking the time to lend your voice to this process and for your continued commitment to student success at GHC.
Sincerely,
Your QEP Steering Committee
