Welcome back new and returning students!

I hope everyone’s semester has gotten off to a great start! My name is Danielle Griesemer. I am your Student Government Association president. For those of you who do not know, Student Government Association is the student body organization that links all campuses and serves as a liaison with the administration. We strive to make GHC the best it can be for all students. As a quick recap, last semester SGA accomplished, with the help of all students, a supply drive for those students at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City Beach, Florida impacted by Hurricane Michael; and we hosted a series of Holiday Parties to celebrate the end of the semester.

Looking forward to this semester, SGA will be hosting a SPRING DANCE on the Cartersville Campus on April 5th! This will be the second year SGA has held a dance. With much success last year, we decided to change things up a little. This year, you -the student body- will be voting on the theme! Keep a look out in your emails for the poll! Encourage all of your friends and classmates to vote as well, and keep April 5th free on your calendars! More information soon to come.

If anyone is interested in being involved with SGA, our next meeting will be held via Video Conference Room on each campus at 11:00am on February 1st.
